The Conference Dinner at Shunju Tameikesanno is priced at 13000 JPY per person, with a limited capacity of 50 guests. Your ticket grants you access to the three-course meal at Shunju Tameike Sanno, inclusive of all the listed food and beverages (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic options).

Kimono Dressing Demonstration
Delegates attending ACSS are invited to a special session focusing on the art of kimono dressing, featuring live demonstrations by kimono teacher Satoko Yamada. This interactive session will guide attendees through the precise process of dressing in a kimono, using live models to illustrate each step. Yamada-sensei will provide explanations on the techniques used, as well as the cultural rationale and traditions behind these practices. This live session promises to be both educational and engaging, offering insights into the rich cultural heritage of Japan.

About Kimono Teacher Satoko Yamada
Satoko Yamada is a Kimono Teacher with over ten years of experience, specialising in the traditional art of kimono dressing. Based in Nagoya, Japan, she has dedicated her career to preserving and sharing this intricate aspect of Japanese culture. Satoko has studied with eight kimono experts and has obtained a diploma from Higher Normal Kimono School. She is known for teaching the importance of grace and manners when wearing a kimono. “The beauty of a kimono alone does not define a person’s beauty; it is their conduct that truly matters”. Satoko aims to inspire appreciation and understanding of the kimono, making this traditional art form accessible to a wider audience.
